Yes to Microblading
Here is a list to consider to ensure your a "yes" for microblading.
MICROBLADING IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:
· If your pregnant or nursing
· Diabetic (doctors note is required)
· Undergoing Chemotherapy
· Seborrheic dermatitis
· Rosacea
· HIV Positive
· Rheumatoid Arthritis
· Viral Infection
· Very Oily Skin types. We suggest other treatments such as powder brows, shading or ombre brows.
· Oily also means in your brow area, if you tend to be shiny in pictures, you run a bit oily.
· Epilepsy
· A pacemaker or heart problems
· Skin irritations, or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburns, acne etc)
· Sick, cold, or the flu or has tested positive for COVID
· Botox in the past 2 months
· Used Accutane in the past year.
· Keloid or Hypertrophic scaring
· * We can only perform on Cancer patients if they have a doctor’s clearance.
· *Thyroid issues: can be done, but the retention of the pigment may not be great.
· * Antibiotics: Finish your prescribe antibiotics before scheduling a treatment.
MEDICATION WHICH WILL AFFECT BLOOD COAGULATION:
· Blood Thinners
· Blood pressure medication
· Diuretics
· Painkillers
· Advil
· Tranquilizers
· Dermatological Medications (Accutane)
· Sleeping Pill
· Chemical Peels
· Hormone Replacements
· Antibiotics
· Immunosuppressants
· You must be off all these products for a specific time frame before your treatment, please consult with your PMUA to talk about your appointment time frame.
